Hi! I’m Mariana
I am an AMI 0-6 trained Montessori educator and I am dedicated to the liberation of the child from the oppressive systems that constrain their ability to develop as they are trying to. As educators who were often raised in oppressive, conventional classrooms and oppressive, conventional parenting styles, it can be hard to truly implement the liberatory Montessori Method in our classrooms. Whether we are trained or an assistant, we all benefit from mentorship and coaching to build incredible learning communities that are supportive for children AND adults alike.
I spend 10 years in the classroom, the past 5 years in as an Instructional and Leadership Coach, and the past 8 years working with parents alongside my school-based work. I have classroom experience at all levels birth to six, have been an AMS trainer for 0-3 trainings, and have been a guest lecturer for several AMI trainings and Montessori conferences (regional and online).
Through PEACE, I help you understand how to implement the Montessori Method regardless of your role and training level. I work with individuals and teams and always direct you to developmental context and Montessori theory to best understand your children and next steps.
